Amsterdam: 9 May 2026

From Collapse to Flow: Understanding Your “Freeze” Response.
LOCATION: Studio Veerkracht. Oostenburgervoorstraat 53, Amsterdam.
TIME: 10.00 to 12.00H

If you’ve ever felt exhausted for no clear reason, stuck in procrastination, disconnected from your body, or like you just “can’t move” even when you want to — this workshop is for you.

What many don’t realize is that this isn’t laziness or lack of discipline. It’s your nervous system in a freeze response — a state designed to protect you when life feels overwhelming.

What we’ll do:
In this 2-hour experience, we’ll gently explore how your body has been holding this pattern, and more importantly, how to begin shifting it.

Through trauma-informed somatic practices, breathwork, gentle movement, guided meditation, and a deeply relaxing sound bath to reset at the core, you’ll learn how to reconnect with your body without forcing or pushing.

What you get:
This is not about “getting your energy back” through willpower — it’s about creating the internal safety your body needs to come out of shutdown naturally. You’ll leave with practical tools to release stored tension, regulate your nervous system, and move from heaviness into subtle, sustainable flow.

Who is this experience for:
This workshop is especially powerful for high-performing professionals who are used to pushing through stress, and are now feeling the consequences in their bodies — fatigue, tension, lack of motivation, or emotional flatness.

It’s also deeply supportive for women navigating peri-menopause, where hormonal shifts can amplify nervous system dysregulation and exhaustion.

Regarding our nervous-system's responses to stress:
Even if you believe you “just have one pattern”, the truth is we all cycle through fight, flight, freeze, and fawn — we’ve just never been taught how to recognize them in ourselves. This workshop gives you that awareness — and a new way forward.

Important:
Each session is designed with care to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore and learn practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. You’ll have the chance to connect with others, deepen your self-awareness, and discover new ways to foster calm and clarity.

What to bring:
Comfortable clothing, a journal if you like taking notes, and an open heart. You will be provided at the venue with a yoga mat, but if you prefer, you can bring your own. Should you have any questions before we start, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to support you.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to the limited spots available, this session is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to a friend or request access to alternative resources to support your practice.

Yesterday I attended the SOS Nervous System Regulation workshop, and after two hours of breathwork, yoga and sound therapy, I felt that my nervous system had reset and my body felt refreshed and balanced. Thank you Zu and Sonja for this amazing journey. A beautiful place where you immediately feel at home. Looking forward for the next workshop and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning new tools to face challenging emotions like stress and sadness.

Tiziana

Today I had my first stress relief workshop, I’ve never done something similar and it’s been really nice. The moment you step in the location you feel welcomed and surrounded by positive vibes and calm. The place is beautiful, the room bright and shine. Zu and Sonia leaded the workshop with passion and professionalism. I personally loved the breathing and music sessions. I strongly recommend it.

Lee

I recently attended the SOS workshop and wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. However, I was eager to learn more about regulating my parasympathetic nervous system, as it plays such a vital role in both mental and physical health. The session was thoughtfully designed, incorporating yoga, breathwork, and sound therapy. I was pleasantly surprised by how present and grounded I felt throughout, and it was wonderful to connect with the other participants. The space itself is stunning—filled with natural light, cozy mats, and an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease the moment you step inside. I walked away with actionable steps and practices to help bring that grounded feeling into my daily life. I’m looking forward to future sessions and would highly recommend this workshop to anyone seeking balance, relaxation, and practical tools for well-being.
